Is imageupload.io free to use?+
Yes. The free plan includes 500 MB of storage, expiration up to 1 month, password protection, a gallery dashboard, and 10 API/MCP uploads per month. No credit card is required.
Does imageupload.io strip EXIF data from photos?+
Yes. EXIF, IPTC, and XMP metadata, including GPS coordinates and device identifiers, is automatically removed on upload before the image is stored.
What is a self-destructing (burn-after-reading) image link?+

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, lets compatible AI assistants call tools. imageupload.io provides an MCP server for uploading, listing, organizing, inspecting, and deleting images with the account owner's API key.
How much do paid plans cost?+
Starter is $5/month, Pro is $12/month, and Business is $29/month. Yearly plans cost the equivalent of ten months. Current storage limits and features are listed on the pricing page.
