Refund Policy

14-day no-questions refund.

We want you to try imageupload.io Pro without worrying about whether it's right for you. This page explains, in plain language, when and how you can get your money back.

1. The headline

If you purchase a Pro subscription (monthly or yearly) and change your mind within 14 days, we'll refund you in full. No forms, no justification, no haggling. Just send an email and we'll process the refund.

2. Who this applies to

The 14-day money-back guarantee applies to:

  • Your first-ever purchase of a Pro Monthly subscription.
  • Your first-ever purchase of a Pro Yearly subscription.
  • Switching between monthly and yearly counts as a separate purchase and its own 14-day window.

It does not apply to:

  • Renewal charges after the first 14 days (because you already had the chance to cancel before they happened). See section 4 for how to avoid renewals you don't want.
  • Accounts that have been terminated by us for a Terms of Service violation (abuse, illegal content, chargeback fraud).

3. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account. Include:

  • Your imageupload.io username or account email.
  • The approximate date of your Pro purchase.

That's it. We'll confirm the refund has been initiated within 2 business days and the money will appear on your original payment method within 5-10 business days (the exact timeline depends on your bank and card issuer). Your account reverts to the Free plan within 24 hours of the refund being processed. Images exceeding Free-plan limits will not be deleted but will become read-only until you reduce usage or re-upgrade.

4. Cancelling without refunding

If you're past the 14-day window, you can still cancel your subscription at any time from your profile page. You won't be charged again, and you'll keep Pro features until the end of the period you already paid for. After that, your account reverts to the Free plan. Your images are not deleted when you downgrade - they remain accessible subject to the Free-plan limits (100 MB storage, expiration up to 3 months).

5. Who you're actually buying from

imageupload.io uses Paddle as our Merchant of Record. That means when you pay for Pro, Paddle is the legal seller on record and handles payment processing, billing support, tax collection, and refunds on our behalf. Your card statement will show a charge from Paddle.net or Paddle.com, not from imageupload.io. This is normal and doesn't affect your subscription.

You can also contact Paddle's buyer support directly at paddle.net if you prefer - any refund you arrange with them is honored the same as one you arrange with us.

6. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge was fraudulent or incorrect, please email us at [email protected] before filing a chargeback with your card issuer. We will almost always be able to resolve the issue directly within 48 hours - faster, simpler, and without the black mark on your payment history that a chargeback creates. Accounts that file chargebacks without first contacting us may be permanently suspended.

This refund policy is in addition to (and does not override) any statutory refund rights you may have under your local consumer protection laws. In particular, consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom may have a right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive that permits cancellation of digital-services contracts within 14 days, which we honor without deducting usage.
