Free image hosting for links that work.
Upload a real image file and leave with the links you need: a clean share page, a direct image URL, and embed code for websites, forums, and Markdown. Privacy controls are available before you upload, not hidden after it.
One upload, several useful outputs
The result is designed for the place where the image will be used. You do not need to rewrite URLs or build embed tags by hand.
Share page
A human-readable page for messages and social posts. It preserves the image context and provides a report path if a public upload violates the service rules.
Direct link
A URL that serves the image itself. Use it for an image element, a forum post, a readme, or another surface that expects image bytes rather than a web page.
Embed formats
Every successful upload supplies HTML, BBCode, and Markdown based on the same direct URL. Copy the format that matches your destination.
The original file is treated as input, not copied blindly
The server decodes the upload as an image, normalizes its orientation, removes embedded metadata, and stores the processed result. That matters when a phone photo may contain GPS coordinates, device details, dates, or a hidden thumbnail.
Type and decode checks
The endpoint accepts PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, and AVIF. The image processor must be able to decode the file before the upload can succeed.
Metadata removal
EXIF and embedded profile data are removed during processing. This is automatic on free, paid, anonymous, web, API, and MCP uploads.
Moderation controls
Uploads are checked against service limits and moderation safeguards. Public hosting still requires responsible use under the Terms of Service.
Choose the lifetime before you share
Free does not mean permanent by default. Pick a retention rule that fits the conversation, project, or handoff.
Read the temporary hosting guideTime-based
Choose one day, one week, or one month on the Free plan. The service removes the stored image after the selected period passes.
Delete after view
Use a burn link when one successful image request should consume the upload. Keep your original because deletion cannot be reversed.
Delete after a view limit
Choose from 1 to 999 unique views. Repeated requests from the same browser fingerprint are deduplicated for 30 minutes, and the image has a 30-day time cap even if the selected limit is not reached.
A practical free-upload checklist
-
1
Keep your source file
An image host is a sharing layer, not a replacement for your only copy. This is especially important when you choose expiration or view-based deletion.
-
2
Match the link to the destination
Send the share page to a person. Use the direct URL or generated embed code where software expects an image resource.
-
3
Use a password for controlled sharing
A password protects the share page and direct file. Send the password through a different channel, and remember that recipients can still save a file after viewing it.
Free image hosting questions
What is included with free image hosting?
The Free plan includes 500 MB of storage, files up to 25 MB, direct and share links, password protection, automatic metadata removal, folders, and expiration choices up to one month. Bearer-authenticated API and MCP uploads have a separate allowance of 10 uploads per month.
Which image formats can I upload?
The web uploader and API accept PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, and AVIF files. The server validates and processes the image before it is stored.
Do I get a direct link to the image?
Yes. A successful upload returns a human-readable share page and a direct image URL. It also provides ready-to-copy HTML, BBCode, and Markdown embed formats.
Does the free uploader remove photo metadata?
Yes. Uploaded images are reprocessed and stored without embedded EXIF metadata, including location and camera details. The visual orientation is normalized during processing.
How long does a free upload stay online?
Free uploads can expire after one day, one week, or one month. You can also choose delete after the first successful image request or delete after a chosen number of unique views, with a 30-day maximum for view-limited uploads.
